Description

Regularly scheduled online LIVE classes for a small group. Classes from Monday to Saturday @ 12:00 pm IST.

1 hour regular classes schedule to be followed by everyone attending this class :

# Initial relaxation : Relax your body and mind while lying in Savasana (Corpse Pose).

# Chanting of Dhayana Slokas : It helps to tune the mind to the divine in its different aspects.

# Breathing exercises (Pranayama) : Practice of Kapalbhati and Anulom Vilom.

# Surya Namaskar : To warm up our body before practicing Asanas, we perform stretches using Surya Namaskar (sun salutation).

# Practice of Classical asanas. Focus will be on the flexibility of your spine.

# Progressive Muscle Relaxation : Practice of tensing one muscle group at a time followed by a relaxation phase with release of the tension.

# Final relaxation : Practiced at the end of the yoga session while lying in Savasana (Corpse Pose).

# Chanting of Mantra and prayer : We chant Maha Mrtyunjaya Mantra (Om Tryambakam) as it is a life-giving Mantra and is believed to bestow on you health, long life, liberation and prosperity.

Price for each session is Euro 12 per person.

Namaste !!I am a certified Teacher of Yoga from The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre which follows systematic and precise approach to classical Hatha Yoga.I have been practising yoga since 6 years, over the period of time also worked with Visually Impaired and Seniors by adapting yoga postures and making yoga more accessible to them. Besides this, it has been a pleasure to introduce yoga to the beginners and practicing along with intermediate and advanced practitioners.If you are having issues of back pain, neck pain, sleeplessness, inability to concentrate, lack of energy..….. then main reasons behind THESE could be mental stress and inadequate body flexibility…these both in combination leave devasting effects on our “BODY & MIND”. Requirements

  • Visit your doctor or physio therapist, before joining yoga sessions, if you observe any unusual signals from your body.
  • Share with your yoga teacher, about any medical history.
  • Listen to your body.
  • Respect your body.
  • Donot worry about what others are doing and what is their flexibility...you will reach your levels slowly with time and with practice.
  • Do not take any heavy meal couple of hours before joining the practice session.
  • Use a comfortable yoga mat for practice and a cushion to sit on, if you find it difficult to sit crossed leg on mat.
  • Practice in a peaceful room with no disturbance...you need to focus on yourself.
  • If possible, try to use bluetooth ear phone as it will prove your audio experience...and will remain connected with the cues / instructions given from time to time.
  • Medium of Instruction in English.
